O’Halloran Deal transfer to Saggers Law
In mid 2014 Julie O’Halloran and Anthony Deal, partners in O’Halloran Deal Lawyers made the strategic decision to focus on the business advisory and corporate development aspects of O’Halloran Deal in Sydney and Toronto, Canada and to transfer the litigation, commercial, conveyancing, wills and probate and immigration aspects of their practice to Frances Saggers, a senior solicitor who had worked for O’Halloran Deal since 2010.
Announcing the transfer Anthony said: “Not all of the last 10 years has been spent developing commercial law aspects of the practice. We have also developed a solid practice in the areas of wills, specialising in testamentary trusts for high net worth individuals and have serviced rural and residential conveyancing clients as well as commercial litigation matters. We also reinvested capital to build the firm’s immigration practice, initially focusing on skilled migration as part of our commercial practice. As a registered migration agent, Fran is able to handle this part of the firm’s work.
Fran first began work as a solicitor in Griffith, then worked for a national law firm in Sydney and in law firms in London, Jakarta and Singapore. She has experience in a broad range of commercial, finance, corporate and property work, including commercial and domestic conveyancing and leasing.
We are pleased that Fran has decided to take control of the domestic practice of O’Halloran Deal. She will be assisted by Darryl Goode, special counsel, and long standing affiliates in Sydney as well as our existing support staff. We wish her the very best.”
The transfer took place on 31 July 2014.
